In 2011 and 2012, with the sponsorship of Petrobras, the Promundo Institute held 68 awareness-raising workshops on Gender, Sexuality and Health in 38 cities located in 14 states: Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul , Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Sergipe. With the aim of promoting the questioning of rigid gender norms and reflecting on the influences of these norms on the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and young people, the workshops offered educational tools and promoted debates and exchange of experiences through meetings between professionals from different areas. and community residents. In this publication, we aim to tell a little about this project, presenting results generated from the workshops and action plans and portraying some of this collective learning.
