In 2015 we began a three-year initiative to work with partners, including UN Women, to conduct the International Men and Gender Equity Survey – IMAGES in four Middle Eastern countries, promoting a deeper understanding of the relationship between men and equity gender in the region.

Along with the MenCare campaign, which we co-led, we launched the first State of the World's Fatherhood report, which received worldwide attention and more than 40 million views across media and social media.

The report and attention to the topic contributed to advances in paternity leave in the Netherlands, Brazil and the United States.

In Brazil, we carried out the first study on marriage in childhood and adolescence in the country, bringing important media attention to this problem, which until then had little visibility in the country. And, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Living Peace initiative reached thousands of families, together with the police and the army, in actions to prevent violence and support post-conflict trauma.
