Promundo

In 2004, Promundo's mission was reformulated. The development of social technologies was legitimized as a guide for the institution's programmatic actions.

​

Among the activities developed, Promundo led the formation of Aliança H, a global alliance of organizations that seek to promote gender equity among young people. It developed two new projects complementary to Program H: Project D, aimed at reducing homophobia among young people, and Project M, which seeks to encourage female empowerment of young women in low-income communities.

​

In the same year, due to the positive experiences of Program H in various regions of the world, the institution was selected by the National STD and AIDS Program to participate in the International Center for Technical Cooperation.
