Promundo

​

The issue of paternity has been addressed by Promundo since its founding, as its mission is to promote gender equality and reduce violence against women, boys and girls. The path chosen to promote social change has been the involvement of men and boys and, in this sense, working to prevent and reduce inequality and violence. The work contributed to questioning dominant models of masculinity, including changing the dynamics of the division of domestic labor between men and women beyond men's participation in the care of their sons and daughters.
