In March, as a contribution to actions aimed at promoting women's rights, the Promundo Institute organizes the International Seminar 10 years of the H and M programs: different approaches to educational methodologies in gender. The seminar aims to debate the different ways of applying the methodologies of Programs H and M, internationally recognized as models for the engagement of men and women in gender equality. The event also aims to share the lessons learned over the ten years to plan future actions aimed at promoting equality between men and women.
Among the topics covered in the Seminar are:
• The experiences of adapting the H and M programs in different countries and contexts in Latin America;
• Methodological approaches aimed at preventing sexual exploitation in the context of major works for events such as the World Cup and Olympics;
• The use of sport as a methodology for involving men in promoting gender equality and preventing violence against women;
• The participation of young people in actions to promote gender equality;
• The integration and awareness of health professionals to promote friendly services
• Teacher training on the topic and approach in schools.
