Promundo begins selection process to hire researchers and educators to work on research into children's feelings of safety and insecurity in four communities in Rio de Janeiro: Cidade de Deus, Vidigal, Prazeres and Vila Joaniza.
Playful activities will be developed on weekends, over four months, for children between 4 and 6 years old, as a methodology for collecting information in qualitative research.

Technical research consultant
Number of Vacancies: 01
Functions:
• Analysis of qualitative research data;
• Formulation of research tools, in collaboration with the team;
• Collaboration with team members and international partners;
• Coordination and supervision of a team of consultants;
• Production of periodic reports
Qualifications:
• Training in social sciences (master's level);
• Minimum experience of 05 (five) years in qualitative analysis;
• Experience using research methodologies applied to children;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
Researcher
Number of vacancies: 02 to 04
Functions:
• Observe and participate in groups with children;
• Produce field diary;
• Prepare reports
• Participate in periodic team meetings;
• Conduct interviews with parents, residents and people related to early childhood in the locality.
Qualifications:
• Training in social and human sciences;
• Previous experience in qualitative research;
• Experience in research on topics related to Human Rights.
Educator
Number of vacancies: 4 (one for each community)
Functions:
• Apply integrated arts methodology with children in communities;
• Create community coordination to select a group of children who will participate in the activities.
Qualification:
• Professionals with experience with young children, aged 4 to 6, in the areas of art and education.
• Preferably people who already work or live in the communities selected for the research.
Availability required for functions:
Once a week (on Saturdays), in addition to 2 monthly meetings with the research coordination.
There will be training in March, lasting 16 hours, divided into two work days.
