The Promundo Institute is looking for an intern (a/e) proposal and prospecting professional , who will play the role of identifying financing opportunities, preparing call for proposals and managing the proposal submission process.
The professional chosen for the position will collaborate closely with our program coordinators and management team to develop financing strategies aligned with our mission and objectives. This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong writing skills and a passion for making a difference in the community. The vacancy is for Rio de Janeiro.
Key responsibilities:
Survey of opportunities for notices from government agencies, foundations and other sources to identify potential funding prospects.Writing concise, persuasive funding proposals adapted to the requirements of each funding opportunity.Collaboration with program coordinators and subject matter experts to collect information and data needed for funding proposals.Management of the proposal submission process, including coordinating submission deadlines, collecting supporting documents and ensuring compliance with notice guidelines.Maintaining records of requests for proposals.Maintenance of funder monitoring table.
Qualifications:
Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear and compelling narratives for funding proposals and reports.
Excellent research skills with ability to identify relevant funding opportunities and collect supporting data and information.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Familiarity with grant management software and databases is a plus.
