Promundo brought together experts to develop a methodology for preventing gender-based violence

On April 1st, Promundo began a series of six consultative workshops to develop in a participatory manner a methodology for secondary prevention of gender-based violence in public schools in Rio de Janeiro, through the Jovens pelo Fim da Violência project.

The methodology was based on the H and M, Living Peace and Expect Respect programs. This development phase will count on the contributions of education professionals and specialists in dealing with violence from the Interdisciplinary Center for Support to School Units (NIAP), of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Department of Education; and the Violence Attention Center.
