Play+ helps young people and parents talk about sexuality

During the week of November 10th to 14th, the Play+ Campaign: creating bonds for respectful education is taking place with young people from the “Practicing sport, winning in life” Project in Maré!

The Campaign has a component aimed at promoting the sexual and reproductive health of young people. For them, an agenda and a truth game were developed that facilitate dialogue and the exchange of experiences and information among young people. The booklet “Dialogue, without shame” was created for parents, which encourages frank dialogue between parents and children about sexuality.

“The campaign brought us a lot of information. I'm going to play this truth game a lot at school and the booklet can really help us have a closer relationship with our parents, it will help them talk to us better”, said Karolyne Cristine dos Santos, 14 years old.
