Health professionals in Portugal are trained in the Program P Methodology

On April 12th and 13th, Promundo held training in the Program P methodology at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Coimbra, Portugal, with professionals from the Portuguese Unified Health System.

The objective of the training was to train health professionals to involve men in maternal and child care and health, in addition to testing the adaptation of Program P to the Portuguese context.

In total, 17 professionals were trained. On that occasion, it was possible to sign a protocol of intentions of good practices with the General Directorate of Health of the Portuguese Ministry of Health for the institutionalization of Program P in the country and action plans were carried out by the participants.
