Starting in March, the Gender Equality in Schools Course will train 100 education professionals in the State of Maranhão. This year the course, which was exclusively distance learning, has a new format, divided between face-to-face classes and online classes, to further improve the possibilities for using the classes.
The face-to-face classes will take place in two cities in Maranhão: São Luis, which will also include education professionals from São José de Ribamar, starting on March 23, and Codó, starting on March 25, also receiving teachers from Peritoró and Timbiras.
The new classes are offered by Promundo and Plan , in partnership with AstraZeneca and with the support of the Maranhão State Department of Education .
