The video History of Carlos is an emotional and courageous testimony of the life experience of this young man from Nicaragua who suffered sexual violence in childhood and, overcoming the trauma, works to prevent the exploitation and sexual violence of children and adolescents.
Research reveals that two in three women in Nicaragua suffer physical abuse from their husband or partner, and one in three children have been sexually or physically assaulted. It is important to recognize that boys and young men also suffer from this type of violence.
