Recently, Promundo launched the First Report on Black Paternities in Brazil . The material is a compilation of texts written by experts and researchers in the field, coordinated by Luciano Ramos, senior consultant for programs and projects at Promundo. The report has a broad discussion about the exercise of paternity with a racial focus and is the first Latin American material that carries out the discussion in such an in-depth way, over more than 200 pages, possessing great methodological rigor and, above all, outlining discussions more assertive on the topic.
Below, you can follow the seminar that marked the official launch of the material, with speeches from the researchers who worked to create the report.
Due to the high relevance of the research, Luciano Ramos gave an interview to Globo News, inspiring a beautiful report addressing the difficulties encountered in the exercise of black fatherhood, considering the data obtained through research, combined with testimonials from black fathers.
