Improving the Quality and Use of HIV-Related Clinical Services by Men
Promundo, The ACQUIRE Project/EngenderHealth
This is a training manual for service providers who work with men. Sessions in the manual encourage participants to question the bias against men's involvement in reproductive health and HIV-related services in health facilities. Sessions also identify ways to improve the quality of services for men and explore ways to attract men to these services.
The manual is part of the “Engaging Men and Boys for HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support” package, developed during a partnership project between Promundo and EngenderHealth, which was funded by PEPFAR (President's Emergency Plan for HIV Relief). AIDS) in the United States. The manuals combine activities from Program H and MAP (Men as Partners Manual) from EngenderHealth.
