Promundo, Noos Institute

This report presents the results of a qualitative and quantitative study on gender violence and sexual and reproductive health, with men aged between 15 and 60 years, in two neighborhoods in the city of Rio de Janeiro (Bangu and Botafogo), involving three communities : two low-income and one middle class.

​

Published in 2003, the report was one of the first studies on men and gender-based violence in Brazil. The work was developed in partnership with the NOOS Institute.
