Road to Rights – Working Guide to Implement actions aimed at reducing the vulnerabilities of children and adolescents in the cities of Aguiarnopólis, Aliança do Tocantins, Barrolândia, Colinas do Tocantins, Pugmil and Wanderlândia.

The work plan to implement actions aimed at reducing the vulnerabilities of children and adolescents, in schools covered by the Knowledge Road Program (PEC), in the cities of Aguiarnópolis, Aliança do Tocantins, Barrolândia, Colinas do Tocantins, Pugmil and Wanderlândia, has as a reference actions related to the theme of violence based on the diversity of individuals and the inequality of rights against children and adolescents, especially sexual exploitation and abuse. This plan is based on the following documents: Research Report on Gender and Violence against Children and Adolescents in schools covered by PEC/SEDUC/Integrated and Sustainable Regional Development Project (PDRIS); Guidelines for preparing the Strengthening Action Plan; Mapping of care routes in Tocantins; Tocantins State Education Plan (PEE-TO 2015-2025); and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC).

 

The main specific objectives of this work plan are: Raise awareness among the school community, mothers and fathers of students or guardians and institutions in the child and adolescent protection network, as well as representatives of the municipal departments of health, education, social assistance (among others) about human rights and violence against children and adolescents; Identify and adapt a successful methodology for training teachers, facilitators and supervisors on issues related to Violence Based on the Diversity of Individuals and Inequality of Rights, conflict resolution, promotion of equal rights and promotion of sexual health and reproductive health, which includes the prevention of sexually transmitted infections; Develop pedagogical teaching material based on the selected methodology to carry out training and training of teachers, facilitators and supervisors on issues related to Violence Based on the Diversity of Individuals and Inequality of Rights, prevention and detection of violence against children and adolescents, including sexual exploitation, as well as appropriate responses to abusive relationships and sexually transmitted infections; Train professionals and technicians in the management and teaching staff of primary and secondary education, who work in the municipalities of Aguiarnópolis, Aliança do Tocantins, Barrolândia, Colinas do Tocantins, Pugmil and Wanderlândia, based on the methodology of this Pedagogical Didactic Guide; Identify projects and initiatives related to youth protagonism and entrepreneurship that can be strengthened or implemented within the schools that are part of the Knowledge Road Program (PEC); Hold seminars in the cities of Aguiarnópolis, Aliança do Tocantins, Barrolândia, Colinas do Tocantins, Pugmil and Wanderlândia, with the local community, municipal and state authorities, education, social assistance, health and public safety professionals on the actions implemented and main results.
