20-minute educational video that presents common experiences for young women and addresses topics such as sexual and reproductive health, violence, pregnancy, motherhood and work. It can be used with young women and men or with health and education professionals looking for new ways to discuss young women's health and autonomy.

 

Girls don't play football! Play house and dolls. Girls don't sit with their legs open! A good girl learns to clean the kitchen. Could girls only be like that? This video presents the story of Maria, a girl like many others, who begins to question expectations of what she should or shouldn't be like. From childhood memories to dreams for the future, we reflect on how girls are raised and how this influences their desires, behaviors and attitudes.
