The ACQUIRE Project/EngenderHealth, Promundo

This is an educational manual for working with men to question inequitable views about masculinity and develop more positive attitudes to prevent unhealthy behaviors that put them and their partners and families at risk. It can also be used to train facilitators who will implement workshop activities with groups of men.

The manual is part of the “Engaging Men and Boys for HIV and AIDS prevention, care and support” package, developed during a partnership project between Promundo and EngenderHealth, which was funded by PEPFAR (President's Emergency Plan for HIV Relief). AIDS) in the United States. The manuals combine activities from Program H and MAP (Men as Partners Manual) from EngenderHealth.
